Expansive views of Central Park and the surrounding skyline are seen from every room of this elegant, 6,500 square foot, five–bedroom and six–bath duplex. Designed without moldings, baseboards, or trim, the transformation required absolute accuracy and precision. The home features walls finished in Venetian plaster and Japanese Tamo paneling and floors of custom–crafted Zebrawood. A heated, engineered wood floor was installed in the yoga studio allowing precise temperature control of the space. Other unique features include the creative application of LED lighting on the staircase ceiling to give the impression of a natural skylight. The project was completed in eight months.
